Meet Hagop Ayvazian

Personal Experience

Hagop is an Associate Attorney in our firm. Hagop is a vigorous advocate and an aggressive litigator, who fights for the constitutional rights of all Minnesotans. Hagop unapologetically puts everything on the line for every representation he undertakes.

Hagop was born and raised in Long Island, New York. Hagop graduated with BA from the University of Pittsburgh in 2011. Hagop graduated from the William Mitchel College of Law in 2014.

After Law School, Hagop spent three years working as a Contract Paralegal at the United States Attorney’s Office, Southern District of New York in Manhattan, where he worked on multimillion dollar Asset Forfeiture cases, money laundering conspiracies, and high-profile drug trafficking cases, including:

  • U.S. v. Ryan Kim, et al.; U.S. v. Michael Klein; U.S. v. Laquan Parrish, et al.;
  • U.S. v. Da’Quan Johnson et al.; U.S. v. Jamel Upson, et al.


Between 2018 and 2021, Hagop worked as a Contract Attorney at the United States Attorney’s Office, Southern District of California, where he functionally operated as co-counsel in the nation’s leading BSA/AML Prosecution Team, and assisted in investigating and prosecuting high stake money laundering/criminal asset forfeiture cases including:

  • U.S. v. GPOMCT Grupo Empresarial S.A. de C.V.; U.S. v. Liang Zhou; U.S. v. Fan Wang;
  • U.S. v. Zenaido Del Toro-Gutierrez; U.S. v. Manuel Reynoso Garcia
